Intern
You’re young and curious. You yearn to learn. You long to discover the secret of good PR. Then you’re the right person for us. For a six-month period, while you support your team with all current projects, you’ll familiarize yourself with the daily work of a PR agency: how to handle a wide variety of media and how to work with them, how press releases are written, how mailings are prepared, how to set up good media mailing lists and compendiums of clippings from the press, and how to conduct accurately targeted research. You’ll be welcome to peer over the shoulders of your fellow team members while they develop new concepts, and you’ll participate in our clients’ events.
An internship at Häberlein & Mauerer shows you how work is done at a PR agency. We gladly invite dedicated interns to begin a traineeship that can be augmented with night-school classes.
Volunteer
PR is precisely your cup of tea. You’ve already discovered that. Now all you need is the right access. In this case, we recommend a voluntary period of on-the-job training at Häberlein & Mauerer. For a one- or two-year period, you’ll support your team in its daily activities and you’ll work on a client’s account. You’ll write press releases, create mailings, cultivate contacts with editorial offices and administrate our clients’ products. You’ll have opportunities to look after smaller projects and events for our clients. Your sojourn with us as a volunteer will give you all the key qualifications to start your career as a PR specialist: dealing with editors, journalistic know-how, independently taking care of smaller projects and the overall handling of a team’s daily work.
This job is what you make of it. You can achieve even more if you participate in our extensive program of continuing education and augment your volunteer training with night-school classes.
Trainee

As a trainee, you’ll improve your skills as an author of press releases, create presentations and draft cost estimates, acquire proficiency in dealing with clients and journalists and, in accord with your superiors, you’ll learn how to independently and confidently conduct projects and events. You’ll gain insights into the development of holistic marketing and PR strategies for our clients and you’ll create initial concepts.
Our extensive selection of continuing-education opportunities will support you as you enhance your professional qualifications.

You’ll gain insights into the development of holistic marketing and PR strategies for our clients.
