Munich: Energy-charged budget for häberlein & mauerer – The Digital Living team has acquired VARTA Consumer Batteries as a new client
Effective immediately, from its Munich office the PR agency will support VARTA Consumer Batteries, the number-one brand on Germany’s battery market.
VARTA Consumer Batteries markets innovative high-quality products in the areas of batteries, rechargeable batteries, battery chargers and flashlights. With strong product ideas, developed on the basis of more than a century of experience, VARTA repeatedly dynamizes the market for mobile energy. The success of the German market’s leader derives from its focus on consumers’ lifestyles in the context of developing modern applications and closely collaborating with the trade.
Within the framework of the ongoing budget, häberlein & mauerer’s Digital Living team (led by Unit Director Martin Opercan and Junior PR Consultant Andreas Katrakis) will support VARTA’s extensive portfolio of products in Germany and will also deliver materials and concepts for VARTA to use on its international markets. The focus of the classical PR work will be commercial and technical publications, as well as special-interest and general-interest media.
Furthermore, häberlein & mauerer’s Digital Living team is also taking charge of communications for the “VARTA TriEnergy Tour,” a nationwide family-oriented triathlon tour of which VARTA is the chief sponsor.
