Press Trip to Andalusia for Kalkhoff E-Bikes
Eighteen journalists escaped from wintry Germany and flew to Granada in early November. The task awaiting them in Andalusia was to discover the unique experience of riding an e-bike. Sunshine and pleasantly warm temperatures greeted the reporters, as did a complete fleet of the Kalkhoff brand’s newest e-bike models for 2010, which the journalists thoroughly tested. While riding together through the gorgeous Andalusian hinterland, everyone had ample opportunities to experience firsthand the thrilling speed of e-biking – without even breaking a sweat. At the end of the two-day testing period, everyone agreed that the “tailwind principle” works very well and that e-bikes will surely not remain merely a trend phenomenon in urban environments and street traffic.
